Venue Change for River Region Primary/Division 1 competition

Due to an unexpected sports schedule conflict with DIAA basketball at Appoquinimink High School on March 4, 2017, DELCAPS will now hold the River Region Primary/Division 1 event at John Dickinson High School.  The school is located in the Milltown/Pike Creek area of Wilmington; the address is 1801 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808.  We are very fortunate that the Red Clay School District is an ardent supporter of Odyssey and the administrators were more than willing to work with us and accommodate the venue change.

The date/time of the River Region Primary/Division 1 coaches pre-tournament meeting and the competition previously communicated is unchanged; only the location is changing for these events.  Judges training on February 11, 2017 also will be held at Dickinson instead of Appoquinimink High School.

DELCAPS is very familiar with Dickinson High School.  The school has played host to several of our competitions over the past couple of years, including State Finals in 2012.  If you have any questions that need to be addressed prior to the coaches pre-tournament meeting, please feel free to reach out to me at or Beth Engler, our River Regional Tournament Director, at
