Team World Finals Grant Application Form

Application Guidelines:

This form is required for any team, both US and International, wishing to apply to COU for team World Finals (WF) Room & Board (Housing) Package grants. This form is the only way in which teams may apply for COU WF Grants.
All questions on this form must be answered. Incomplete or partial applications will not be considered for funding.
Each TEAM may submit only ONE application. Duplicate applications will not be considered.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide a valid WORKING and monitored email address.
Applicants that do not respond to our questions or requests for information in a timely fashion will not be awarded grants.
Successful applicants will be notified approximately two weeks after each eligible tournament. Non-successful applicants will not be notified.
At the end of the tournament season, any grants not previously awarded, will be distributed among earlier non-successful applicants.
Your eligibility to receive funds will be verified with Creative Competitions, Inc. and/or with your local Association Director.
Teams MUST be staying on the campus of the WF host university in order to receive COU Housing grants
Teams that are awarded a grant will receive an email and instructions on how they will be applied.

Funding Guidelines:

Creative Opportunities Unlimited, Inc. will only consider requests for World Finals Room/Meals Packages. Other costs associated with attending World Finals are not eligible for funding.
No actual monetary funds will be distributed. This program only provides a reduction in the number of housing packages successful applicants will need to purchase for WF.
Grants cannot be transferred to another team for any reason.
If an offered grant cannot be used, or is otherwise refused by the team, the distribution of those housing packages will revert to the sole descretion of COU.
The maximum COU grant request is 4 (four) housing packages for US teams, and 6 (six) housing packages for international teams. Be advised that only a small number of the total applications are successful, and that typical awards for those teams given grants are typically less than the maximum allowed.
It is very unlikely that teams that have previously received a housing grant from COU will receive another award.
Housing packages may ONLY be requested for team members and a maximum of two coaches who must be registered as team coaches (for this team) on the World Finals team registration form.
Grants for other attendees/team supporters will not be considered.

All Teams (International and Domestic) - Maximum of two weeks after qualifying tournament (National or State Finals).
